Who we are

Mercy Chair is a community-centered outreach committed to meeting practical needs while restoring dignity and hope. Through the heart of Mercy Chair, we create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and cared for—whether they need essentials, encouragement, or simply someone willing to show up.

Our Blessing Closet provides clothing, hygiene items, and everyday necessities for individuals and families facing hardship. We also distribute blessing and snack bags filled with food, toiletries, and small essentials to meet immediate needs and remind people they are not forgotten.

We regularly go into rehabilitation centers to offer free haircuts and personal care, helping residents feel refreshed, confident, and valued during their recovery journeys. In addition, our Mercy Days bring the community together through free haircuts and acts of service designed to uplift and care for our neighbors.

Every other Saturday, we serve a hot meal to approximately 100 people, creating a welcoming environment where individuals can gather, eat, and experience genuine connection. Through these efforts, Mercy Chair continues to provide both tangible support and compassionate presence to those who need it most.
