Who We Are

The Mercy Chair is a faith-based, community-centered outreach dedicated to meeting practical needs while restoring dignity, hope, and identity. At our core, we believe every person is seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. Through compassionate service and genuine connection, we create spaces where people feel supported - not judged - whether they need essentials, encouragement, or simply someone willing to sit beside them.

Our Blessing Closet provides clothing, hygiene items, and everyday necessities to individuals and families facing hardship. We also prepare and distribute Blessing Bags filled with food, toiletries, and small essentials - tangible reminders that no one is forgotten and no one walks alone.

We regularly serve in rehabilitation centers by offering free haircuts and personal care services, helping residents feel refreshed, confident, and respected during their recovery journeys. Through our Mercy Days and salon ministry, we provide free hair services as an act of dignity and love, because something as simple as a haircut can restore confidence and remind someone of their worth.

Every other Saturday, we serve a hot meal to approximately 100 people, creating a welcoming environment where our neighbors can gather, eat, and experience genuine community. Around each table, we offer more than food; we offer presence, prayer, and hope.

Through every haircut, every meal, every Blessing Bag, and every conversation, The Mercy Chair exists to be the hands and feet of Jesus—restoring hope by sharing mercy.
